CCAR©️ Recovery Coaching Basics
Join our one day CCAR© Recovery Coaching Basics Training, designed to help professionals and individuals impacted by substance misuse gain a deeper understanding of the recovery process and the role of a Recovery Coach. This introductory training is based on our flagship program, the Recovery Coach Academy (RCA), and will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the key skills and techniques required to effectively support individuals in recovery.
Through this training, you will learn to define and increase fluency in the language of recovery, build capacity to understand, support and advocate for recovery, and develop specific skill sets key to supporting recovery. You will also create a learning community to advance the recognition, acceptance and support of recovery.
Whether you are a healthcare professional, therapist, support worker, social worker, family or friend this training will provide you with the knowledge and tools to better serve individuals impacted by substance misuse and support their long-term recovery.
