Unfortunately, with current, and even modified guidelines in place, a sweat lodge is very close quarters with an environment very conducive to spread of germs, and the event had to be cancelled. We will try to worked on a new date in Spring of 2021.

Adventure Recovery holds the sacred practices of fire ceremony and sweat lodges in deep reverence and respect. The term “Sweat Lodge” describes both the structure and the ceremony that occurs within it. The “Sweat Lodge” ceremony is an indigenously-derived process of purification found on every continent and which varies among many traditions. We bring rocks heated from a fire into the Lodge. In the heat and complete darkness, we share a series of prayerful and meditative experiences open to all beliefs and practices. By praying in this way, we connect with the Earth, our Ancestors, one another, and our deepest, most authentic selves.
